The time has come! 2023 is over and we want to celebrate it, yay! Instead of getting under weather because so awaited and special for us, Godly Warriors, Christmas is gone, let’s get excited about the greatest party of the year. Let’s throw Christian New Years Eve! But opposite to the world, why won’t we skip tons of alcohol and revealing dresses? Common, I have some alternatives. 🙂
Let’s get loud (and colorful)!
And I do not mean playing Jennifer Lopez’s song (although why not)? There is bunch of music that is Christian compatible and it goes way beyond Hillsong. This one night we do not need to play worship playlist in a loop – unless you can dance to John Paper’s sermon jam, then sure, go for it.
So far we’ve figured out we need to wear something that will allow us to dance, assuming you’re going to the party. And now you are lost – you do not want to compromise your values by no means!
But you know your friends unbelievers are going to stick to the modern rule of big 3: short-thigh-revealing. Is there a way for you to be modest and celebrate Christian New Years Eve and still feel sexy? YES!
Classic Queen
I do not suggest going to the church in a golden dress, but half of the population picks this color on the New Years Eve, so you are safe picking that one too, yet still staying modest. But everything in moderation.
Now, let’s call things as they are – if you want to go with cleavage, make sure that the line between your breast is not visible – then modest becomes vulgar and we don’t want that! Small, lower than usual cut once a year, fine, but let’s not cross the line. Dressed not for people (ok, maybe just a little bit), dressed for Jesus, right?
Red Velvet
Another classy outfit in a Christian New Years Eve version. There is a line between sexy and vulgar, and it is easy to cross. But don’t feel tempted to do so – it is way better for us to make people say “Wow” than “Oh, I’m seeing her butt!”.
My mum always taught me – if the bottom is tight/short, the up needs to be fully covered and vice versa. So as I understood the difference between modest but slightly sexy and TOO sexy aka provocative. So if you’re going with playful, shorter dress, make sure that it not only does not show too much of your thighs but also pay attention to its construction on your chest.
Eccentric and original
Sometimes we are so done with classy golden or red and simply want to experiment with something different. Suit in a vibrant color is a great idea – it is modest because it covers everything, but still can compliment your figure, and it is certainly unique.
With the suits danger is in the pants. You might not even be aware of it, but some of them once you move are cuddling around your butt and let’s be honest, your behind looks like a sex bomb. So strings and laces are probably not a good idea (unless the suit is from decent, thick material) – sorry, but it is just safer to put babushka’s panties!
Tulle princess
You want to feel modest and sweet? Tulle is the perfect material – gentle, feminine color and you have the perfect dress. Tulle is elegant enough to serve as Christian New Years Eve worthy material and also thick enough to cover you modestly. Totally go for it!
Majority of tulle dresses already have the modest vibe to it – you look 100% pretty without looking sexy. Plus, hello, you are the daughter of the Greatest King so you ARE the princess – if somebody asks you why you picked tulle among so many hotter materials, you can share the Gospel with them 🙂
Lady in black
I usually do not wear black – I mean, this blog is about colors 😉 BUT I do have one black dress. So you know, for a person that wear colors all year long, black can make a wow effect haha
So, if you feel like being classy and choosing a blackie, then sure, why not? Christian New Years Eve can follow trends in fashion – and as we know, black will always be trendy (even though for me rather as an accent color than the main character ;)).
Silver Grace
Silver is also a royal color and it exposes the beauty of Grace – then why not wearing it for Christian New Years Eve? Whether it is a dress, a suit or a set – I’m sure it will look cute on you!
Silver is a great alternative for golden, especially if you have rather cold skin tone. It is also the color of armors and hey, we are in the Army of God – look, one simple color and can say so much about you and your beliefs 🙂
Color explosion
You want to use a wide color palette and express your colorful soul? Oh I’m so proud of you – my blog taught you well 😉
This night you can play around as much as you want – be crazy and experimental. Color A and color B don’t go well together? Pffff, I know you can make this happen. Nothing is impossible with the One that strengthens us, right? Who said this verse cannot apply to color combinations?
